The school not only serves the childrens home community, but also the locality. Students, both girls and boys, attend the school from the surrounding villages. Every morning three school buses make double rounds to collect students while another bus picks up teachers. There are presently 16 classes and 470 students in the school from Playgroup, Nursery and Kindergarten to Eighth Class, and aiming to take it up to Tenth Class in the near future.

What is Shishya School all about?

It's about action songs and Christmas dramas.

It's about lining up at the slide 6 times during interval.

It's about sharing tiffins and passing out toffees on your birthday.
